Amelia Poole has been best friends with Zoey Clarke since childhood. Amelia is pretty ordinary, and very gentle.
She's a very modest person, which is why it irritates her when Zoey claims to know everything. She tries to prove Zoey wrong, but most of the time Zoey tends to be right which just adds to Amelia's frustration.
She moved to the US when she was very young. She barely remembers her birth place in England, only bits and pieces. The US is her home, but it doesn't show through her accent. She likes to indulge in British culture (such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, etc) to reflect on what it is like there since she doesn't remember it. (She doesn't like tea though, she prefers coffee. She says that it makes her more like the Doctor in that way.)
She likes being partnered up with Zoey on cases. She likes finding out what is really behind it all. She tends to be fairly observant while working a case. But she likes the more normal cases, so when Zoey gets them into the superstitious cases, she tends to freak out.
She has long, wavy brown hair and brown eyes, and is shorter in height than most of the people she knows.
